The objectives of CSDC@YorkU shall be:
• to participate in the only Canadian inter-university satellite design competition with goals to design and build an operational cube satellite;
• to provide a forum for the discussion and exchange of ideas related to the design and implementation of a satellite for exploration and development of space;
• to coordinate the efforts of students at York University who are interested in Engineering, space exploration and development;
• to educate students and the general public about space engineering, space exploration and development, its benefits to humanity, and the ethical concerns surrounding the objectives;
• to organize events and special projects related to satellite design and the subsequent exploration and development of space; and
• to maintain relations, through Geocentrix Technology Ltd. in Canada and the world, providing a forum for international discussion and exchange of ideas related to the exploration and development of space.
